What are B-lerts?

B-lerts are emails sent to you to notify you of certain transactions happening on your account. Each B-lert can be sent to up to 3 email addresses, within minutes of the actual transaction.

How do I set up an B-lert?

Click the "Add B-lert" image to begin. Choose the type of B-lert you would like to set up.

When will I receive an B-lert?

In the B-lerts setup section there are two fields called "Send B-lerts From" and "Until". Enter the range of hours of the day you would like your B-lerts to be sent. If an B-lert is triggered but it is not during these hours, your B-lert will be sent the following day.

How soon after I set up an B-lert will I begin receiving them?

Immediately. B-lerts are real time.

What is Minimum Balance?

The Low Balance Alert will notify you when your balance drops below the amount specified in this field.

What is Minimum Purchase Amount?

In the set up screen for the Large Debit Card Purchase B-lert, there is a field called Minimum Purchase Amount. You will be notified when a debit card purchase is made on your account that matches or exceeds this value.

What is Email Detail Level?

If you would like your B-lert to contain the Transaction Time/Date, Amount, and New Balance, choose "Specific - Full Detail". You can also have limited information sent by choosing "Moderate - Some Detail" and "Generic - No Detail".

    A Low Balance B-lert! has been triggered on your account. Please log in to BOB to view more detail.
  • Specific - Full Detail
    A Low Balance B-lert! has been triggered on your account.
    You asked to be notified when your account balance fell below $5,000.00:

Can an B-lert be sent to my cell phone?

Yes. You must know the email address of your phone and the standard text messaging charges from you phone carrier will apply.

Can I see my past B-lerts?

Yes, we keep the last 30 days history. You can view them by using the "B-lerts Sent" section. Type in the "From" and "To" dates to see your past B-lerts.

How can I change my B-lerts?

Click the "Edit" image next to the B-lert you would like to change. This will bring up a form that will allow you to edit all of the details for this B-lert. Click the "Continue" button once you have completed your changes.

How can I stop receiving B-lerts?

Click the "Delete" image next to the B-lert you would like to stop receiving. This will remove this B-lert from your account. To stop receiving all B-lerts simply delete each B-lert you are signed up for.

How many B-lerts am I allowed to sign up for?

There is absolutely no limit to the number of B-lerts you can sign up for. You can sign up for multiple types of B-lerts as well as sign up multiple times for each type of B-lert.

For Example, you can set up a low balance B-lert to be notified at home anytime your checking account balance drops below $200.00. You can then sign up for another low balance B-lert and have it email your cell phone anytime your account balance drops below $50.00.
